Pocket PC • Nubloid

More room for what you already do on your phone.

Write, study and use your apps on a larger screen, with a keyboard and mouse. Pocket PC expands your workspace while keeping your phone at the center.

What you can do

Writing a longer email, reviewing a document or following a class is more comfortable when you have room. With Pocket PC, your apps keep running on your phone while another Android device, an Android TV or a TV with a compatible stick displays your workspace.

The apps you already use

Keep using the apps and files on your Android. Your phone runs the apps; the other screen displays the session.

A keyboard, a mouse, more comfort

Connect a keyboard and mouse to your phone to write, browse and use your apps on the larger screen. A more comfortable way to handle tasks that need your attention.

Put another screen to use

An Android TV or a TV with a compatible stick can become part of your workspace. Another compatible Android phone or tablet can receive the session too.

In practice

Your study space can start with your phone.

Open your course materials in the app you already use, read on the larger screen and write with a physical keyboard. When you end the session, your apps and files remain on your Android.

Before you start

Requirements and compatibility

  • Nubloid on both devices: the Android running your apps and the Android receiving the screen. TVs and sticks must be compatible.
  • On first use, follow the in-app guide to prepare the connection and authorize the required settings, including Android developer options.
  • A keyboard and mouse connected to the Android running your apps. Display, control and audio features depend on the devices and apps you use.

Step by step

How to get started

  1. Open Pocket PC on both devices and choose which will send and which will receive the screen.
  2. On the phone sending the screen, follow the setup guide, scan the requested QR code and confirm the permissions.
  3. Connect a keyboard and mouse to that phone, confirm the start and open the app you want to use. End the session in Nubloid when you finish.
